Default chat filter, and baning

ok soyou say a bad word , and get banned why do pople try to use the filter as a excuse not to be baned. and go on about things , and clearly never read the rules

ok you got banned end of story for the right reason , and the chat filter is for one reasononly.

so when poeple do use words like that there kids dont see it but adults see it and report you,

you need to read the rules before you start playing, words like(f ,a words and so one) that are not alouded , and the chat filter is provided for the reason to keep kids from learning those words and adults to report you ,

get over it

please dont make this post into a rant or start flaming this post ify ou dont agree leave it alone, i just want those poeple to understand what the chat filter is for

Why would this thread need my help to turn it into a rant? It already is one. Most likely posted by someone who was arguing about this in game and needed to make his point.

This doesn't belong here, and fyi, debating the rules IG is also not helpful -.-

If you post an opinion you are inviting people to challenge it.

I may agree that the chat filter is no excuse for those who use chat improperly, but...

You are still posting an opinion, in fact a rant of your own, and by so doing inviting others to challenge you.

A fallacy or expletive is just a word like any other. It does not take on offensive meaning until the user puts offensive meaning behind it. Eg/ somebody might "prick" their finger to get a drop of blood, whereas another might call somebody a "damn prick". The prior is not offensive at all whereas the latter is.

If I see something funny and say, "Holy, that was ****ing hilarious!" do I deserve to be banned? I wasn't using it in an entirely inappropriate manner and it wasn't used in an offensive manner in a response to another person. Not only that, the chat filter is there for a reason. Children probably shouldn't have it turned off as it is, and if any adult becomes offended by my saying, "Holy, that was ****ing hilarious!", they are a hyper-sensitive moron who should be shot.

Yeah, you're ranting, the OP is borderline unreadable, and you're having a one-sided talk with people who aren't even here. Closed.
